SARASOTA, Fla. – (Saturday, December 13) The Emmanuel University women's swimming team competed at the 2025 CSCAA Open Water National Championships. The field consisted of 125 swimmers from NCAA Division I, II, III and NAIA. The race consisted of a 5K (3.1 mile) open water swim. The lady lions finished 4th overall in the D2 team standings, with 44 points. Two lady lions broke the former 5K open water EU school record of 1:03:22 set by Reilly Allman at the 2022 open water national championships.
On the women's side,
Isabella Hernandez was the top EU finisher, finishing 10th overall in D2 with a time of 1:00:52.0 (a new EU school record).
Eulalie Clech finished 13th with a time of 1:02:02.6 (also under the former EU school record). Senior Captain,
Zoe Anthony finished 21st with a time of 1:05:11.0. GO LIONS!
