FRANKLIN SPRINGS, GA – The Emmanuel Men's Wrestling team hosted Bluefield State University tonight in conference action. The Lions jumped out to an early lead, but Bluefield State responded well. The Lions closed out with wins in the heavyweights to earn the 32-12 victory. With the win, the Lions improve to 3-2 on the season.

• At 125 lbs. Braydon Mitchell (Emmanuel) def. Larry Rhodes (Bluefield State) by decision, 13-11.
• At 133 lbs. Alex McMiller (Emmanuel) def. Luke Roberts (Bluefield State) by majority decision, 9-0.
• At 141 lbs. Jameer McCrae (Emmanuel) def. Xavier Nguyen (Bluefield State) by fall (5:48). 
• At 149 lbs. Isaac Piatek (Emmanuel) def. Enrique Sanchez (Bluefield State) by decision, 9-8. 
• At 184 lbs. Josue Mendoza (Emmanuel) def. Landon Marquis (Bluefield State) by majority decision, 17-6. 

Next up, the Lions will compete at the Carolina Clash hosted at Lander University on December 7 at 9AM.
