ROME, GA – The Emmanuel Men's Wrestling team traveled to Rome, GA last night to take on the Shorter University Hawks in conference action. The dual was a close one, with both teams earning key wins but the Lions edged out the Hawks in the end, 27-20 to move to 4-6 on the season.
 
HIGHLIGHTS

• At the 149 lb. weight class, Charles Hayes won via majority decision 16-4.
• At the 165 lb. weight class, Isaiah Castro won via decision 8-6.
• At the 174 lb. weight class, Michael McCarthy won via tech fall 18-0.
• At the 285 lb. weight class, Jacob King won via decision 2-1.
