Isabella Hernandez, competed in the 22nd edition of the World Aquatics Championships - Singapore 2025. This year's World Championships is hosting 2500+ athletes, from 202 different countries, competing in 77 different events (July 10-Aug 3).

Hernandez (representing the Dominican Republic and Emmanuel) competed in the Open Water 10K and 5K events.

10K RACE
69 swimmers started the race, 53 finished. Due to warm water temperatures (31 degrees Celsius/88 degrees Fahrenheit) 16 swimmers had to be pulled from the water for heat exhaustion, including Hernandez.

5K RACE
78 swimmers started the race, 68 finished. Hernandez was able to finish the 5K race, finishing 56th overall with a time of 1 hour 12 minutes 35 seconds.

This was the second trip to the World Championships for Hernadez, who competed in the Doha, Qatar World Championships last summer, in 2024.
