Franklin Springs, GA – Conference Carolinas unveiled the 2025 Women's Volleyball Preseason Coaches' Poll today and your Emmanuel Lions were voted as the preseason favorite!

Following a 2024 campaign where the Lions finished 21-10 overall, 17-1 in conference action falling in the semifinals, Emmanuel is hungry and ready to reclaim the Conference crown. 

The Lions return 9 players from last season, including 2024 Conference Carolinas Player of the Year, Ellie Jackson who led the team with 3.90 kills per set in conference action, while hitting .284% against conference foes. The team brings in 7 newcomers who are eager to contribute. 

2024 Conference Coach of the Year, James Friddle had this to say about the recognition.

"We are honored to have the respect of the rest of the Conference," Friddle said. We understand that this is a new year, and nothing has been accomplished yet. Our new players have blended into the team and injected amazing energy and talent. We accept the target on our back and know we must focus on getting better each day."

The Lions will open the season on September 5^th in Tampa, FL. against the University of Findlay at 3PM.
