Box Score ANDERSON, SC – The Emmanuel Men's Soccer team traveled to Anderson, SC tonight to take on the Anderson University Trojans in regional play. The Trojans got off to a hot start, taking a 4-0 lead heading into the half. The Lions answered with a score in the 2^nd half, but the Trojans came away with a 4-1 win. With the loss, the Lions fall to 0-2 on the season. 

The Trojans opened up the scoring with a goal at the 5:04 mark to take a 1-0 lead. Anderson tacked on another goal a minute later to make it 2-0 and added two more to finish off the first half leading 4-0. The Trojans outshot the Lions 7-2 in the first half, with 4 shots on goal.

Pau Nel-Lo Recasens got the Lions on the board at 54:39, with the assist by Nathan Walker to cut the Trojans lead to 4-1. It was a defensive battle the rest of the way, with the Lions outshooting the Trojans 4-3, with the Trojans having 2 shots on goal to the Lions 1. 

Emmanuel goalkeeper, Bryan Amezcua finished the night with 2 saves in the 2^nd half. 

Next up the Lions will face Saint Leo University on Wednesday at 7PM in their home opener.
