Franklin Springs, GA – Following a strong week in the water which saw the Lions go 2-0, senior, Jan Michalak was named the Conference Carolinas Swimmer of the Week. 

The Lions started off the week at Brenau, where they defeated the Thomas University Nighthawks, 102-39. Michalak was a part of the 400 Yard Medley Relay team that took first place, with a time of 3:29.04 and earned two first place finishes in the 200 IM (1:54.23) and the 200 Butterfly (1:57.03).

On Saturday, the Lions celebrated their Seniors in their final home meet of the season against Thomas University. The Lions took down the Nighthawks 139-40. 

In the meet, Michalak helped the Lions take home a first-place finish in the 200 Yard Medley Relay with a time of 1:38.14. He also earned a first-place finish in the 400IM with a time of 4:09.68.
