Lions Fall to Lander 42-6

GREENWOOD, SC – The Emmanuel Men's Wrestling team traveled to Greenwood, SC last night to take on the nationally ranked, Lander Bearcats in conference action. The Bearcats took an early lead winning the lightweight matchups. Emmanuel's Davin Lundquist earned a win in the 141 lb. weight class to put the Lions on the board, but the Bearcats closed out the dual strong to earn a 42-6 victory. With the loss, the Lions fall to 6-6 on the season, 6-5 in conference action. 

HIGHLIGHT

At the 141 lb. weight class, senior, Davin Lundquist earned a win over Lander's Jaxton Freeman by fall (1:57). 

Next up, the Lions will travel to Newberry to take on the Wolves in conference action on February 1st at 9AM.
