Franklin Springs, GA – The Emmanuel Men's Wrestling team closed out the regular season with a dual against Truett McConnell University. The Lions jumped out to an early lead with wins in the lightweight division, but the Bears answered with wins at 141, 149, and 157 to make things interesting. The Lions roared back with wins at 165, 174 and 184 but the Bears closed the dual strong to win the last three matches. The Lions held on to earn the 24-22 victory to move to 9-6 on the regular season,

- At 125 lbs. Braydon Mitchell (Emmanuel) earned the decision win over Tyler Ramos (TMU), 14-7.
- At 133, Jameer McCrae (Emmanuel) def. Stanley Lal (TMU) by decision (4-2).
- At 165 lbs. Nate Stratton (Emmanuel) def. Avery Spencer (TMU) by fall (2:04).
- At 174 lbs. Michael McCarthy (Emmanuel) def. Tyler Crow (TMU) by fall (2:15).
- At 185 lbs. Cooper Bachman (Emmanuel) def. Christian Anderson (TMU) by fall (2:13).
The Lions will be back in action on February 28 at 9AM as they travel to Greenwood, SC to compete in NCAA Regionals hosted by Lander University.
