KINGSPORT, TN – The Emmanuel Women's Swimming team opened up action today in the 2026 Conference Carolinas Championship held at the Kingsport Aquatic Center. 

Today's events included the 1000 Freestyle, 200 Medley Relay, and the 800 Freestyle Relay. The Lions finished the day in 4^th place with 72 points. A highlight of the night was freshman, Eulalie Clech, who finished 2^nd overall in the 1000 Freestyle, breaking both a school and conference record while earning an NCAA cut.  

RESULTS 

• In the 1000 Freestyle, Eulalie Clech finished 2^nd with a time of 10:21.95. Isabella Hernandez finished 4^thwith a time of 10:44.00. 
• In the 200 Medley Relay, the Emmanuel team of Darielys Ortiz, Catalina Acacio, Marcela Alonso, and Zoe Anthony finished 2^nd with a time of 1:46.20. 

Day two preliminaries will begin at 10AM tomorrow with finals beginning at 5PM.
