KINGSPORT, TN – The Emmanuel Women's Swimming team continued competition in the Day 2 finals of the 2026 Conference Carolinas Championship at the Kingsport Aquatic Center. The Lions competed in the finals of the 500 Freestyle, 200 IM, the 50 Freestyle, and the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay. The Lions finished the night with a school record broken by Eulalie Clech in the 500 Freestyle, and NCAA Cuts earned by Isabell Schiller in the 200 IM and Clech in the 500 Freestyle.

RESULTS

• In the 500 Freestyle, Eulalie Clech finished 2^nd with a time of 5:02.52, breaking the school record and earning an NCAA Cut. Isabella Hernandez finished 5^th with a time of 5:12.87.
• In the 200 IM, Isabell Schiller finished 1^st with a time of 2:02.93 to earn an NCAA cut. Catalina Acacio finished 4^th with a time of 2:09.23.
• In the 50 Free, Marcela Alonso finished 2^nd with a time of 23.99. 
• In the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay, the team of Darielys Ortiz, Marcela Alonso, Zoe Anthony, and Isabell Schiller finished 2^nd with a time of 1:35.91.

After today's finals, the Lions currently sit in second place with 232.5 points behind leader, UNC Pembroke with 312.5.

Action will continue tomorrow with Day 3 Prelims beginning at 9AM with finals at 5PM.
