Bellevue, KY – The Emmanuel Men's Bowling team opened Conference Carolinas Championship action this week. After qualifying 2^nd behind Belmont Abbey (2,971-2,865), the Lions faced #3 Thoms More in the opening round. 

The two teams bowled 5 games, with the Lions winning in dominant fashion, 4-1 to remain in the winner's bracket. 

The Lions took the first game, 232-171 before the Saints edged Emmanuel by a point, 157-156 in game two. The Lions closed the match out strong, winning the final three games, 150-121, 224-143, 153-124. 

Next up, the Lions will face reigning Conference Champion, Belmont Abbey tomorrow at 11:30AM.
