Ferrum, VA – The Emmanuel Women's Flag Football team traveled to Ferrum, VA for a conference match up against Ferrum College. It was a defensive battle from the start, with neither team getting on the board until late in the game. The Panthers scored twice in the 4^th quarter to take a 14-0 lead, which would be the final score. 

Lillian Stephenson ended the afternoon completing 23-37 passes for 129 yards and an interception. 

Gianna Brown led the way with 5 receptions for 52 yards, while Shayne Cooper-Riley added 7 catches for 41 yards.

Defensively, Gwen Carter had 7 flag pulls, with 2.0 TFLs. Gianna Brown ended the day with 6 flag pulls, with Damoijah Flowers adding a sack.

Next up the Lions will travel to Mount Olive, NC to face Chowan University and the University of Mount Olive on Thursday at 5PM.
