Bellevue, KY – The Emmanuel Women's Bowling team continued action today in the Conference Carolinas Championship tournament.
The Lions opened their day with a match against #4 seed, Walsh. It was a tightly contested match with the Lions earning the 4-2 win.
Walsh took the first game, 162-141 before the Lions won the next three, 169-163, 188-129, 184-160. Walsh took game five, 179-159 but the Lions closed out the match in game six, 205-167.
The Lions continued the day with a match against #1 seed, Belmont Abbey. The Lions earned the win, 4-0 to stay undefeated on the day.
The Lions took game one, 203-149 before narrowly edging the Crusaders in game two, 173-171. The Lions took game three, 198-178 before closing out the match with a game four win, 165-144.
The two teams will meet again tomorrow for the Conference Carolinas Championship crown.
With it being a double-elimination tournament, the Crusaders will have to defeat the Lions twice to earn the victory.
