BELMONT, NC – The Emmanuel Men's Tennis team traveled to Belmont, NC to face Belmont Abbey College in conference action. The Lions took an early lead, earning the doubles point then went onto win 4-6 singles matches to earn the 5-2 win. With the win, the Lions improve to 6-3 on the season.

- At #1 Singles, James Girdler (Emmanuel) fell to R. Novell (BAC) 6-1, 7-5.
- At #2 Singes, Murilo Martins (Emmanuel) def. I. Buerkle (BAC) in three sets. Martins won set one, 6-4 before falling 7-6 in the second, and rallying to win the tiebreaker 1-0.
- At #3 Singles, Aleksander Simovski (Emmanuel) def. C. Simpson in three sets. Simovski took the first set, 6-4 before falling in the second, 6-1. Simovski closed out the third set strong, 6-3 to earn the win.
- At #4 Singles, Henrique Castro (Emmanuel) def. C. Fremaux (BAC) 6-4, 7-6.
- At #5 Singles, Shumpei Kamiyama (Emmanuel) def. M. Bergelin (BAC) 6-2, 6-3.
- At #6 Singles, Matteo Hofstetter (Emmanuel) fell to P. Bayo (BAC) 6-4, 6-1.
Next up, the Lions will host Georgia College & State University on Wednesday at 3PM.
