TIGERVILLE, SC – The Emmanuel Men's Lacrosse team traveled to Tigerville, SC today to face North Greenville in conference action. The Trailblazers jumped out to an early lead, taking a 12-4 advantage into the half. In the second half, the Trailblazers outscored the Lions 7-3 to earn the 19-7 win. 

The Trailblazers opened up the scoring, netting the first 4 goals to take a 4-0 lead. The Lions responded with goals by Everett Muratori and Braden Weeks to make it 4-2, North Greenville. The Trailblazers closed out the first period on a 3-0 run to take a 7-2 lead heading into the 2^nd.

In the 2^nd, Devin Gardner found the net for the Lions, assisted by Muratori to make it 7-3, North Greenville. The Trailblazers answered with a goal, but Gabe Melendez responded to cut the Trailblazers lead to 8-4. North Greenville closed the period on a 4-0 run to take a 12-4 lead into the half.

The third period saw the Trailblazers push their lead to 16-4 early. Gardner and Muratori each found the net for their second score of the game to make it 16-6, Trailblazers. 

In the fourth period, the Trailblazers scored first to go up 17-6. Ryley Dowswell scored his first goal of the day, assisted by Ryland Laturell to make it 17-7 but North Greenville netted the final two goals of the game to make the final score 19-7.

Everett Muratori and Devin Gardner led the way for the Lions with 2 goals apiece. Muratori and Ryland Laturell picked up the only assists of the game, and Nick Pilon ended the afternoon with 22 saves in goal. 

Next up, the Lions will host Anderson University on Thursday at 2PM.
