VALDOSTA, GA – The Emmanuel Men's Golf team competed this week in the NCAA DII South/Southeast Regional Championship held at the Valdosta Country Club in Valdosta, GA.
The Lions finished with a team score of 875, defeating three top 20 teams in the nation. The Lions closed the tournament strong, shooting a 286 in the third round to lock in the 13
th overall finish out of 20 teams.
Freshman,
Gabriel Hull led the way finishing T5 after shooting -8 (208) over three rounds. Hull carded three rounds under par. He started with a round of one-under 71 before shooting 67 in the second round and closing out the tournament with a two-under 70. Hull's strong showing punches his ticket to the NCAA DII National Championship which will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada on May 18-22 at the Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nevada.
