Box Score FRANKLIN SPRINGS, GA – The Emmanuel Men's Soccer team hosted the #17 Anderson University Trojans tonight in regional play. The Trojans controlled the pace of the game from the start, outshooting the Lions 21-0, with 6 shots on goal.After the first half, the two teams were knotted 0-0, but the Trojans took the lead late in the 2^nd half to earn the 1-0 win. With the loss, the Lions fall to 0-1-1 on the season. 

The first half was a defensive battle, with neither team finding the net. The Trojans outshot the Lions 7-0 with 3 shots on goal. Lions goalkeeper, Edouard Laberge started the game strong with three saves in goal to keep the game knotted at 0-0 heading into the halftime break.

The second half was just as competitive, with both teams making key defensive plays. Laberge added two saves to his total for the night. In the 86^th minute, the Trojans took the lead, 1-0 and although the Lions continued to fight, getting off 2 shots on goal in the final two minutes of play, the Trojans escaped the Springs with the win, 1-0. 

The Lions will now travel to Saint Leo, FL to face Saint Leo University on Thursday at 7PM.
