Wilson, NC – The Emmanuel Men's Soccer team traveled to Wilson, NC to face Barton College in conference play. The Lions got on the board first with a score by
Enzo Joly in the 25
th minute to make it 1-0, Lions heading into halftime.
John Ruetschle added onto the Lions lead with a goal in the 73
rd minute to push their lead to 2-0, but Barton responded with a penalty kick in the 83
rd minute to make the final score, 2-1 Lions. With the win, the Lions improve to 4-2-1 on the season, 4-0 in conference action.
Enzo Joly got things started for the Lions with a goal at 25:09 to put Emmanuel on the board, 1-0. In the first half, the teams both took 7 shots each, with the Lions taking 4 on goal. In the first half, Emmanuel goalkeeper,
