Box Score Young Harris, GA – The Emmanuel Women's Soccer team traveled to Young Harris, GA this afternoon to take on Young Harris College in conference action. The Mountain Lions opened the scoring early, but the Lions responded with a goal late in the first half by Ava Bushby to tie the game at 1-1 heading into halftime. Young Harris pulled ahead with two goals early in the second half, but the Lions answered with a goal by Jordan Bruck in the 57^th minute to make the final score 3-2, Mountain Lions.  With the loss, the Lions fall to 2-5-1 on the season, 2-2-1 in conference.

Young Harris took an early lead with a goal in the 8^th minute to go up, 1-0. The Lions battled, with Ava Bushby finding the net at 43:32, assisted by Reagan Hill to make the score, 1-1 heading into halftime. The Mountain Lions outshot the Lions 7-1 in the first half with 2 shots on goal. Ana Ramirez-Cortes ended the half with a save to keep the score knotted at 1-1.

The Mountain Lions jumped ahead early in the 2^nd half, scoring goals in the 49^th and 56^th minute to make it 3-1, YHC. The Lions answered quickly with a goal by Jordan Bruck at 57:52, assisted by Sydney Steele to make the score, 3-2, YHC. The Mountain Lions outshot the Lions 12-3 in the half with 8 shots on goal. Ramirez-Cortes added 6 saves to her total to finish with 7 saves in goal. The Mountain Lions held off the Lions late to make the final score, 3-2.
