Graham Maxwell

Graham Maxwell is entering his 14th season on staff serving the Emmanuel University Men’s basketball team, this will be his Eighth season serving as the Associate Head Coach (2018-19).  
Maxwell has had a decorated career, having been a part of 207 collegiate victories, two trips to the NAIA National Tournament, a trip to the NAIA National Championship (2014), Two NCCAA National Championships (2016, 2018), four NCAA Tournaments, and a trip to the NCAA Sweet Sixteen (2020-21). He has also helped guide the Lions to four Conference Carolinas Regular Season titles (2018-19, 2020-21, 2023-24, 2024-25) along with 2 Conference Carolinas Tournament Championships (2018-19, 2022-23). 
Maxwell is widely recognized as one of the top assistants in all of college basketball. He was recently named NABC Under Armour 30 Under 30 Coaches in 2019 and named one of NCAA DII’s Top 40 Most Impactful Assistant Coaches by SilverWaves Media.  
Maxwell played his college career at Emmanuel as well. He had an outstanding career as a player. In Maxwells' junior season he was the recipient of the NAIA character award and scholarship, as well as scoring over 1000 points for his career. 
Between playing and coaching Graham has been at Emmanuel for 18 consecutive years. The Emmanuel University Men’s basketball brand is widely known and respected on all levels of college basketball and Graham Maxwell is a huge reason for that. 
Graham is married to his wife Ginni, and they have 4 children. They have 3 daughters, Millie, Norah, and Charlie. They also have a boy who is the new addition to the family. His name is Tyson. 
Graham loves Emmanuel University and is committed to the impact of young men on and off the floor.
