Women's volleyball wins on senior night

Box Score
Franklin Springs, GA - The Lady Lions added another win to the program, giving them a 3 game winning streak going into their final two matches of the regular season. In one of the best performances of their season, the women's volleyball team swept the Trojans of Mount Olive in 3 sets.
Competition was fierce the first two sets, keeping the scores very close, but the Lady Lions were able to pull out both sets 25-21 and 25-23. In the final set of their last regular season home game, the team showed a dominant performance, defeating Mount Olive by 9 points. The final scores were 25-21, 25-23, 25-16.
Two players on the team were honored tonight, seniors Libby Bradford and Rachel Tolleson. Libby has been on the team the last two seasons as a transfer from Reinhardt University. In the past two seasons, she has been a key player in the offense of Emmanuel as the starting setter. Rachel Tolleson came into Emmanuel as a freshman, helping build the program from its fundamental stage. A memorable last play saw senior Libby Bradford set senior Rachel Tolleson for the game winning kill. We wish both Libby and Rachel good luck in their future endeavors and a thanks for helping with the development of the Emmanuel College Women's Volleyball program.
Tuesday marks the next match for the Lions as they travel to Miles College to face the GoldenBears. The match is set to start at 6:00 PM. Last time they met, Emmanuel defeated Miles in 3.
