Rome, GA - The lions finished the dual season with a record of 12-7 as they beat in state rival Shorter University 23-21 in Rome, GA. Leading the way was Cody Chaney as he defeated senior Dalton Lane at 184lbs 9-5 in a hard fought match, also coming up big was freshman Jay Sheppard as he got the team bonus points with a technical fall over Demarcus Thomas. Up next on the schedule in the NCWA national qualifying tournament February 27th in Orlando, FL.
