Box Score FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. - Women's soccer had a dominant performance over conference opponent Converse College on Saturday night with a 4-1 victory.
The Lions started off the match with a shot fired in by Sophomore Hannah Logue to take an early lead.
The Valkyries would strike back just twenty seconds later with a shot into the bottom right corner.
With the score tied at 1-1, the remainder of the match would be in favor of the Lions who would go on a three point scoring spree.
Junior Lindsay Lee would set up Logue with a pass down center field just under nineteen minutes into the match. Logue then had a fast break to the net, slipping the shot in over the goalie.
Lee would then strike the ball in for her first goal of the night after capitalizing on a deflected ball.
The final goal of the night came once again from Logue who quickly fired in a shot off a blocked ball before the defense could reposition.
The Lions had 13 shots on goal compared to Converse's six. Senior Hannah Welch tallied 4 saves.
Next up for the Lions is conference opponent Southern Wesleyan on Wednesday, October 3rd.
