Central, SC --- Emmanuel College Women's Soccer traveled to Southern Wesleyan University for a Conference Carolinas matchup between the Warriors this afternoon.

The Lions absolutely dominated this conference matchup against the Warriors. Emmanuel would score their first goal of the half at 12:23. Lourdes Thompkins scored the unassisted goal. The Lions would put up five more shots in attempt to extend their lead before half but four would be saved by Warriors goalie, Amanda Magnin and the other would sail out top of the goal. The Lions would go into the half with a lead of 1-0 against the Warriors.

The Lions came out strong looking to increase their lead.  They would stay quiet until 69:11 where once again, Loudres Thompkins would score an unassisted goal for the Lions. Emmanuel wasn't done quite yet as they would score their 3rd and final goal of the game at 79:53. The goal was scored by Carina Widauer and was also, unassisted. The Lions would secure the victory over the Warriors 3-0 after 90 minutes of play. 
 
The Lions will travel to Francis Marion University on October 8th for a Conference Carolinas matchup with the Patriots. The game is set to begin at 4:30pm.
