Aiken, SC - Emmanuel Women's Basketball team traveled to USC Aiken for a non conference matchup with the Pacers on Wednesday, November 16th.

The Women's Basketball team is coming off of a previous 11-17 record for the 2021-2022 season. The Pacers who are a part of the Peach Belt Conference are coming into this game off of a 8-18 record for the 2021-2022 season and currently 0-2 for the 2022-2023 season. The Lions and the Pacers would stay close as neither team would have an area in which they would dominate overall from the court. Overall, the Lions would go 34.9% from the floor making 22-63 attempts, 27.8% from beyond the making 5-18 and 72.2% from the free throw line making 13 of 18. The Pacers would go 25 for 63 from the court, 4-16 from beyond the three and 15 for 18 at the free throw line. Pacers had the advantage as they had faced two opponents already this season where as Emmanuel had faced none due the team being under the weather. Overall, the Lions held their own in the first matchup of the season. The Pacers would walk away with the victory 69-62.

Emmanuel will host Georgia College on Saturday, November 19th. The game is set to begin at 4:00pm.
