Mt. Olive, NC - The Lady Lions traveled to Mount Olive for a Conference Carolinas matchup with the Trojans. 

Results:

Summary:
First Period
- Abby Crawford sinks a 3 to put Emmanuel on the board first
- The Trojans jump to an early lead over the Lions up by 4 with 4:10 left to play in first period
- Sydney Wyatt drains a 3 to put the Lions up by 3 with 2 minutes left in the first period
- Lions lead by 5 at the end of the first period

Second Period

- Trojans come out hot putting up the first 3 points of the second period
- The Lions and the Trojans exchanged 10 difference lead changes
- Jeanetta Elder makes both free throw attempts with .03 seconds left in the second period to send the Lions into the half with a 3 point lead

Third Period

- Coming out of the locker room, Sydney Wyatt banks a layup to put the Lions on the board first and give them their biggest lead of the game up by 5
- The Lions will go on a run and score the first 8 points of the third period
- Mackenzie Caldwell makes a layup with 13 seconds left in the third period to put the Lions up by 11 points headed into the final 10 minutes of regular play

Fourth Period

- The Trojans would open up the fourth period socring the first 4 points.
- The Trojans would continue with a hot hand as they go up by 1 with 3:25 left to play in the game
- Sydney Wyatt would make 1 of 2 free throw attemps with 30 seconds left in the game to secure a tie score and send the Lions into overtime

1st Overtime

- The Trojan would bank a layup the first opening seconds of OT play
- Jazmine Allen would answer the call with a layup 20 seconds later to tie the game with 4:25 left to play
- At 1:47 left to play, the Trojans would go on a scoring roll as they would score a total of 8 points to Emmanuel's 2 points to give them the win 71-65

- Jeanetta Elder led all scorers, scoring 21 points 
- Jazmine Allen led all with 18 rebounds 

The Lions will host Chowan on December 17th. The game is set to begin at 2:00pm.
