Jeanetta Elder led three players in double figures with 15 points as Emmanuel earned its second Conference Carolinas win on the road against Southern Wesleyan University.
Jeanetta Elder recorded her sixth double digit game as she was the leading scorer for the Lady Lions.
Jazmin Allen (4 double digit games) and
Sydney Wyatt (5 digit games) assisted the Lions with their 17 point victory over the Warriors.
Sydney Watt dished out a game high of 4 assists for the Lions. She went 4 for 9 from the field, 2 for 2 in free throw attempts and scored a total of 10 points.
The Lions held their biggest lead of the night late in the fourth quarter as they would go up 17 points over the Warriors. The Lions would only allow the Warriors to score a total of 7 points in the 4th quarter of the game. This would be the second lowest scoring of the fourth quarter this season as they would only allow Newberry College to score 6 points.The Lions are now 2-1 in the conference after this 68-51 win over the Warriors.
The Lions will host King University on Saturday, December 10th. The game is set to begin at 2:00pm.
