Men's Lacrosse Drops Conference Opener at Mount Olive

MOUNT OLIVE, NC- The Emmanuel Men's Lacrosse team continued their 2022 season this Saturday against the Mount Olive Trojans. The fight ended in a serious loss to the Trojans with a final score of 2-17. 
 
The Trojans came into the game aggressive, scoring 3 goals in the first period. They came back into the second period, scoring 4 more goals before Jared Weiss from Emmanuel scored the first goal for the Lions. 2 more goals were scored by the Trojans before the second period ended. The fight continued into the third period where Travis Brave Heart scored the final goal of the game for Emmanuel. The Trojans capped off the last two periods of the game by scoring 5 goals in the third period, and 3 more in the 4th. 
 
Men's Lacrosse continues their season at home on Wednesday, March 23rd at 4p.m. against the Young Harris College Mountain Lions.
