FRANKLIN SPRINGS, GA - The Emmanuel men's lacrosse team (2-8, 0-2 CC) played their senior day game against Chowan University on Saturday. The Hawks defeated the Lions, 21-8. 

Chowan scored just 30 seconds into the match, but Travis Brave Heart soon answered for the Lions. The Hawks closed out the opening period with three straight, making the score 4-1 after 15 minutes. Brave Heart added another before John Allen scored to make it 3-4. A high-scoring period ensued in the second, but it was still Chowan narrowly leading at halftime, 9-8. 

The second half was all blue as Chowan recorded an unanswered 12 goals. They would eventually win by 13 points, 21-8. 

Brave Heart, Devon Roberts, and Tim Manley JR all finished with 2 goals to lead the Emmanuel offense. 

Next up, men's lacrosse will continue conference play on the road at North Greenville on Wednesday, March 30 at 7:00pm.
