Franklin Springs, GA – The Emmanuel College Women's Tennis Team hosted the visiting Barton College Bulldogs in league play today.
The Lady Lions dominated the doubles on all 3 courts this morning. First, on court #3

Lauren Castillon cruised for a 6-3 win. Right after the Freshmen duo,

Shatavisa Ghosh remined undefeated in conference matches with a great come back from a 3-0 deficit for a 6-4 win. Lastly,
Alejandra Guerrero /
Darja Chistov trailed the whole set but they were able to find their way in a tense tie-breaker, 7-6 (7-0).
In singles, Emmanuel earned 5 extra points: First, the sophomore,
Alejandra Guerrero on court #1, with a quick 6-0 6-3.
Darja Chistov, went the distance to get the 3
rd point for the Lions by 6-4 2-6 6-1. The Senior
Selina Donecker clinched today in 3 sets comeback by 4-6 6-2 6-1
Soleny Gonzalez, extened the lead for EC by 3-6 6-2 11-9. Lastly, the junior
Zyanya Rogel finished the day in favor of the Lions with a 8-4 victory.
Coming up next, Emmanuel will host the visiting Chowan University Hawks for another conference match.
