Banner Elk, NC – The Emmanuel College Women's Tennis Team traveled to Lees McRae College for another conference commitment. 
 
Emmanuel earned a sole win in doubles today on court #3 with Lauren Castillon / Zyanya Rogel closing the net for a 6-2 win.
 
In singles, Emmanuel got 4 extra points: On Court #1, the sophomore, #70 Alejandra Guerrero had to go the extra mile for a 6-1 2-6 6-3 victory. On court #2 Soleny Gonzalez remained undefeated in league matches and placed Emmanuel a point away from the overall win, by 6-1 6-2. Shatavisa Ghosh came back from a 3-0 deficit on the first set today but found her way for a third overall win by 6-4 6-4. Selina Donecker clinched for EC in a 3-set thriller by 6-4 2-6 6-3 on court #5. Lastly Zyan Rogel, found little trouble today on court #6 to finish the deal in favor of the Lions by 6-4 6-3.
 
Coming up next, Emmanuel will remain on the road this Tuesday to face North Greenville University in another conference Carolinas match.
