Box Score Tigerville, SC – The Emmanuel College Women's Tennis Team traveled to North Greenville University for another conference match this afternoon. 
 
Emmanuel earned a very convincing doubles point today with all three doubles winning their matches. On court #3 with Lauren Castillon / Zyanya Rogel found little trouble to close out by 6-2. On court #1, Alejandra Guerrero / Darja Chistov found a sole break to finish the match by 6-4. Lastly, on court #2 the freshman duo composed by Shatavisa Ghosh / Soleny Gonzalez kept composed during tight moments to finish the sweep for the Lions by 6-4.
 
In singles, Emmanuel got 5 extra points: Selina Donecker gave Emmanuel a first point in a straight sets win by 6-2 6-2 on court #5. On Court #1, the sophomore, #70 Alejandra Guerrero had to go the extra mile for a 6-1 2-6 6-3 victory. On court #2 Soleny Gonzalez remained undefeated in league matches and placed Emmanuel a point away from the overall win, by 6-1 6-2. Shatavisa Ghosh came back from a 3-0 deficit on the first set today but found her way for a third overall win by 6-4 6-4. Lastly Zyan Rogel, found little trouble today on court #6 to finish the deal in favor of the Lions by 6-4 6-3. Darja Chistov found her way after a tight beginning to earn another point for the visitors on court #3 by 3-6 6-4 10-8. Lastly, the freshman Chloe Smith helped the Lions with the fifth singles point by 6-2 6-1.
 
Coming up next, Emmanuel will come back to the home courts to serve as host for the visiting Belmont Abbey Crusaders in another conference Carolinas match.
