Lions Fall to Flames

CLEVELAND, TN - The Emmanuel baseball team (16-27) faced Lee University (23-19) on Tuesday night. The Flames defeated the Lions, 12-1. 

Cody Minnis scored Emmanuel's lone run after singling through the left side and sending Tyler Smith home. The Flames scored in each of the first five innings. 

Hunter Ferguson started the game on the mound for Emmanuel, but eight pitchers in total took turns from the rubber in Emmanuel's final out of conference matchup. 

Landon Maynor got the win for the Flames, but they also had eight players take turns pitching.

Next up, Emmanuel baseball will host Erskine College for their Senior Series starting on Friday, April 22nd at 2:30pm.
