Franklin Springs, GA – The Emmanuel College Women's Tennis Team hosted the Belmont Abbey Crusaders in an important conference match this afternoon. 
 
Emmanuel won the doubles point today starting on court #3 with Lauren Castillon / Zyanya Rogel found an important break with solid returns and net play to close out by 6-3. On court #1, Alejandra Guerrero / Darja Chistov found a little issues to finish the match by 6-1.
 
In singles, Emmanuel got 5 extra points: Selina Donecker gave Emmanuel a first point going the distance in a 3-set win by 1-6 6-2 6-4 on court #5. On Court #1, the sophomore, #70 Alejandra Guerrero proved to be too solid from the back of the line in a straight sets win by 6-2 6-4. On court #2 Soleny Gonzalez remained undefeated in league matches and clinched the overall win for Emmanuel, by 6-2 6-1. Shatavisa Ghosh never trailed today in a straight sets win by 6-4 6-2. 
 
Coming up next, Emmanuel will come back to the home courts one last time this season to host the visiting Converse College in the last match of the season.
