Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Women's Soccer loses to UNG 0-3

Franklin Springs, GA. --- Emmanuel College Women's Soccer team hosted University of North Georgia in a non-conference matchup this afternoon.
 
The Nighthawks came out strong and stayed strong the entire game. Emmanuel put up 2 shots in the first half one of which missed high and right, the other would be saved by Nighthawks keeper, Sierra Fowler. The Lions goalie, Hannah Thompkins was tested tonight as the Nighthawks would put up 6 shots in the first half, one resulting in a goal at 28:26, two saved by Thompkins and the rest would sail high and wide of the goal.
 
The second half of play would result in two more goals for the Nighthawks at 50:01 and 51:45. Emmanuel was put to the test tonight but played with heart. 

Emmanuel will host the University of Chowan University for a conference match with the Hawks on Saturday, September 24 beginning at 3:30 p.m.
