Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

Men's Soccer Dominates Johnson & Wales University (Charlotte) 3-0

 

Franklin Springs, GA --- Emmanuel College Men's Soccer team host Johnson & Wales University of Charlotte this afternoon. 

The Lions absolutely dominated this non-conference matchup against the Wildcats. Emmanuel would score their first goal of the half at 26:31. Lucas Pollacchi scored assisted by Colin Wedderburn. The Lions would put up two more shots in attempt to extend their lead before half but the would sail high and wide of the goal. The Lions would go into the half with a lead of 1-0 against the Wildcats.

The Lions came out strong looking to increase their lead.  They would stay quiet until 76:35 where Lucas Pollacchi assisted by Colin Wedderburn for the second time in a row. Emmanuel wasn't done quite yet as they would score their 3rd and final goal of the game at 79:31. The goal was scored by Rafael Calderon, unassisted. The Lions would secure the victory over the Wildcats 3-0 after 90 minutes of play. 
 
The Lions will travel to Southern Wesleyan University on October 5th for a Conference Carolinas matchup with the Warriors. The game is set to begin at 7:30pm.
