Wyatt and Allen increase the Lady Lions win streak to 4 in a row!

Franklin Springs, GA -  The Lady Lions hosted the University of Mount Olive for a rematch tonight. The last meeting between these two teams ended in the Lions losing by 6 points in overtime. This game however, the Lions would dominate the court.

Summary:

First Quarter

- Haleigh Crews of the Trojans would open up the first quarter with a three
- 3:41 left to play in the first quarter and neither team would be able to jump to a lead as they game would be tied up
- Mount olive would be up by 2 at the end of the first quarter

Second Quarter

- Mount Olive would open the second quarter of play with a 12 point run streak over the Lions
- At 7:08 left to play in the first half, Macy Passmore would drain a 3 to put a halt to the Trojans run
- Emmanuel would go on a 5 point run streak to end the first half of play

Third Quarter

- Jazmin Allen would open up the third quarter for the Lions by making a jumper 
- The Lions would go on to have a 8 point run streak to give them their first big lead of the game up by 3 points
- With 1:19 left to play in the quarter, Jeanetta Elder would make a jumper putting the Lions up by 9 

Fourth Quarter

- Abby Crawford would put the Lions on the board first in the fourth quarter by making a jumper
- Early fouls for the Trojans give the Lions the advantage increasing their lead to 13 points
- With just minutes left to play, the Trojans only option was to foul in hopes of keeping their chances alive
- Jazmin Allen would go 4 for 4 at the end of the game on her free throw attempts
- Sydney Wyatt would go 2 for 2 on her free throw attempts to secure the victory for the Lions and end the game
