FRANKLIN SPRINGS, GA – The Emmanuel Women's Volleyball team continued their home-stand today against the reigning Conference Carolina Champions, UNC Pembroke. In what started out as another back-and-forth match, the Lions came away on top, 3-1! With the win, the Lions improve their record to 12-8, 8-3 in Conference Carolinas play.
Overall, the Lions had 53 kills, 9 aces, 5 blocks, and 63 digs.
Senior,
Alaina Emminger led the way with 18 kills with junior,
Jocelyn Martin adding 16. Sophomore,
Ellie Jackson was hot from the service line again, with 3 aces. Sophomores,
Asia Queen,
Layla Bland, and senior,
Gabrielle McGlamery each contributed two.
After hitting 3,000 career assists in yesterday's match, McGlamery added to her total with 44 assists.

Emily Hanson led the way in blocks with 2!
Next up for the Lions will be weekday matchup against USC-Aiken on Wednesday at 6p.m.!
