AIKEN, SC – The Emmanuel Lions Volleyball team traveled to Aiken, SC to take on the USC Aiken Pacers tonight. The Lions made each set competitive, but the Pacers ultimately came away with a 3-0 victory (25-23, 25-22, 25-22). With the loss, Emmanuel's record falls to 12-9 on the season, and the Pacers improve to 14-5. 
 
Overall, the Lions had 34 kills, 5 aces, and 4 blocks on the night. 
 
Senior, Alaina Emminger led the way with 18 kills in the match, with. Emily Hanson contributing 6. 
 
Gabrielle McGlamery had 21 assists and 2 aces on the evening.
 
Blocks were evenly distributed between Emily Hanson (3), Samantha Dibene (3) and Brianna Bigelow (1). 
 
Next up for the Lions will be a Conference Carolinas matchup against Young Harris on Friday at 7p.m. in the Shaw Athletic Center. The theme will be "Block Out Cancer" Night, so wear pink and be loud!
