FRANKLIN SPRINGS, GA – The Emmanuel Women's Volleyball team was back in action tonight against the Young Harris Mountain Lions in Conference Carolinas play. It was a slow start to the game for Emmanuel, but the Lions locked in and beat Young Harris in three sets (25-22, 25-18, 25-20) . The Lions have now won 7 of the last 8 conference matches and now sit 13-9 on the season, 9-3 in conference play.
Overall, the Lions had 43 kills, 8 aces, 6 blocks and 47 digs.
It was senior,
Alaina Emminger leading the Lions in kills with 13, while junior,
Jocelyn Martin contributed 12.
Senior,
Samantha Dibene, sophomore,
Ellie Jackson, and senior,
Gabrielle McGlamery were all strong at the service line with 2 aces each.
McGlamery also led the Lions in assists, with 35.
Senior,
Emily Hanson led the way with 2 blocks for Emmanuel, and
Ellie Jackson added up 13 digs for the team.
