FRANKLIN SPRINGS, GA – The Emmanuel Women's Volleyball team was back in action today against the Anderson University Trojans. Although the first set was close, Anderson came away with a 3-0 win over Emmanuel (25-22, 25-14, 25-17). The Lions now sit at 13-10 on the season, 9-3 in conference play.
Overall, the Lions had 40 kills, 2 aces, 3 blocks and 48 digs.
Junior,
Jocelyn Martin led the way with 12 kills, with senior,
Alaina Emminger contributing 10.
Sophomores
Layla Bland and
Rachel McGlamery had one ace apiece.
Senior,
Gabrielle McGlamery led the Lions in assists, with 33.
Gabrielle McGlamery and freshmen,
Brianna Bigelow each had 2 blocks, with Emminger contributing 1.
