Game Recap: Women's Volleyball |

Lions Sweep Young Harris 3-0!

YOUNG HARRIS, GA – 
 
The Emmanuel Women's Volleyball team traveled to Young Harris, Ga. tonight to take on the Mountain Lions of Young Harris. The Lions came away with a 3-0 victory in straight sets, 25-22, 25-17, 25-19, to improve their record to 10-7 overall, 6-2 in conference.
 
Overall, Emmanuel had 42 kills, 6 aces, 5 blocks and 53 digs. 
 
Freshman, Ella Johns led the way with 16 kills with junior, Jocelyn Martin contributing 9. 
 
Senior, Gabrielle McGlamery added 29 assists, 14 digs and 2 aces to the contest, with senior, Isabella Appling adding 2 aces of her own. 
 
Seniors, Emily Hanson and Alaina Emminger and freshman, Jill Johnson each contributed 2 blocks to the party. 
 
Next up, the Lions will travel to the University of Mount Olive to face the Trojans on Friday at 6p.m.
