Lions Fall to Mount Olive 1-0

FRANKLIN SPRINGS, GA – The Emmanuel Women's Soccer team squared off against the University of Mount Olive today in Conference Carolinas action. It was a defensive battle from the start, but the Trojans got one goal across to bring home a 1-0 win. The loss dropped Emmanuel's record to 3-8 on the season, 3-4 in conference. 
 
Mount Olive's lone goal came in the 30th minute, and that was all the Trojans would need to take the victory. 
 
Emmanuel ended the match with two shots on goal and 8 saves.
 
Up next, the Lady Lions will travel Bristol, TN to take on King on Wednesday at 1p.m.
