Lady Lions Fall to Young Harris

 
The Emmanuel Lady Lions Soccer team traveled to Young Harris today to take on the Mountain Lions. 
 
Emmanuel got off to an early lead with a goal by Janya Gonzalez in the first minute of play  in the 1st. 
 
The rest of the half was a defensive battle, with the Lions taking a 1-0 lead into the half. 
 
Young Harris came out swinging in the 2nd half of play, 
 
The Mountain Lions tied the match at 1 a piece in the 60th  minute of the second half. 
 
In the 72nd minute, Young Harris took a 2-1 lead, and the Mountain Lions defended well the rest of the way to earn the win. 
 
Next up for the Lions will be Erskine College on Saturday, September 23 at 4:30p.m.!
