The Emmanuel Men's Soccer team was back in action tonight against Erskine in Conference Carolinas play.
 
The Lions got on the scoreboard quickly, with a goal by Matt Fitzer at the 1:30 mark assisted by Alberto Hernandez Meca to take a 1-0 lead. 
 
Freshman, Samuel Botwright added to the total with a goal at 27:57, assisted by Matt Fitzer to make the score 2-0, Emmanuel.
 
Pau Nel-Lo Recasens got in on the action in the 37^th minute, assisted by Matt Fitzer giving the Lions a 3-0 lead heading into halftime.
 
In the second half, the Lions continued to step on the gas, with a goal by Lucas Pollacchi, in the 47th minute, assisted by Emilio Rangel, to make the score 4-0. 
 
Nathan Walker tacked on another score at 53:23, assisted by Lucas Pollacchi, taking a 5-0 lead. 
 
In the 68^th minute, a goal by Matt Fitzer made the score 6-0 Lions. Alex Walker had the assist. 
 
Two goals in the 81^st minute, one by Andrew Rowe (assisted by Chris Klooster), the other by Iker Martinez (assisted by Samuel Botwright) gave the Lions an 8-0 win over the Flying Fleet.
 
The Lions will be back in action at home on Saturday at 7p.m. against North Greenville!
