SPARTANBURG, SC – The Emmanuel Lions Cross Country team competed in the Conference Carolinas Championship held at Roger Milliken Center in Spartanburg, SC this morning. The University of North Greenville Trailblazers took first place as a team, with UNC Pembroke's Moureen Kimaiyo earning the individual win. The Lions finished in 8th place (270 points) out of 13 teams.
Emmanuel sophomore,
Gracie Woods led the way for the Lions finishing the 6K with a time of 24:51.6 to earn a 31st place finish.
MaKayla Jones finished in 57th with a time of 26:48.1, while
Kearsen Self earned a 68th place finish with a time of 27:34.4.
