The Emmanuel Cross Country team competed in the Converse Kick Off hosted by Converse University over the weekend. On the Women's side, the Lions placed 15^th out of 21 teams. 
 
Freshman, Gracie Woods led the way finishing in 105^th place with a time of 26:09.3 in the 6K. Fellow freshman, MaKayla Jones ended the race in 135^th place with a time of 27:27.3. Kearsen Self finished in 156^thwith a time of 29:01.1 and senior, Paola Rubio was close behind in 163^rd place with a time of 29:26.3. 
 
Next up, the Lions will compete in the Alexander/Asics Invitational on October 4^th.
