SNOW HILL, NC – The Emmanuel Women's Golf team traveled to Wilson, NC this week to compete at the Barton Fall Intercollegiate at Cutter Creek on Monday and Tuesday. Milligan (TN) took home the team title, with the Lions finishing in third place, at 60-over par, with a 54-hole total of 924. Emmanuel's Mara Martinez finished the tournament in first place as an individual, with a 6 over par finish, and a 54-hole total of 222.
 
Martinez finished strong for the Lions, shooting 1 under par (71) in the final round of play to earn the win by shooting an eagle on the last hole. For the tournament, Mara was consistent, shooting a 75-76-71 overall.
 
Emmanuel's Valeria Lopez finished tied for 5^th in the tournament, at 11 over par (75-78-74) She shot a 54-hole total of 227.
