McCormick, SC – The Emmanuel Women's Golf team competed in the Savannah Lakes Invitational this week held at the Monticello Golf Course in McCormick, SC. The Lions competed well, finishing in 8^th place out of 15 teams, with three Lions finishing in the top 25. 

The Lions started off strong, shooting 297 as a team in round one. After a tough round 2, the Lions rallied to shoot 299 in the third round, with sophomore Aurora Castelli shooting a 3-under par round of 69 to finish strong. Castelli, along with teammate Lucia Salinas finished the tournament at 9-over par to tie for 17^thplace, while freshman, Alba Caliz finished T21 at 10-over par.

The Lions will be back in action on October 6^th as they compete in the Saint Simons Intercollegiate hosted by Lincoln Memorial University.
